Marines free 123 from Iraq hellhole~~~Speaking of horribly oppressed, Ghostrider posted this the 15th on FADG, and so far, no one had even mentioned it!

For those who felt the war was justifiable, it was not surprising, and required no response...

For those who opposed the war, such revelations are too inconvenient to acknowledge... lest they feel even a bit of guilt, or find themselves agreeing that it was a
"liberation", not occupation..

The kind that seem to avoid acknowledging other genocides that happen with the US never lifting a finger to assist, but them blame the US for all the oppression around the world, or defend totalitarian states as legitimate.

The one that DID surprise me was when they found the 150 children in prison who were jailed because they wouldn't join Baathist youth groups (or were hostages to guarantee family loyalty).. That was disgusting, since I feel children are more innocent than adults since they have no means of defending themselves or making their own decisions to stay or leave.
