No. The first comment from Sharon after Baghdad fell was that he (with recent backing from parliament i believe) was ready to make the hard concessions in order to create a freestanding Palestinian state. I believe that the potential for the US to be dictated to by Israel has been drastically reduced since 9/11.

Within 24hrs of 9/11, Netanyahu/Israel was demanding that America attack Iraq. Bush obeyed! Now they are demanding that America attacks Syria and Iran. Will Bush obey Israel's demand again? I am not against discussing it on the Stop the War thread but I think it would be better to address it here:
