Selecting the most dangerous foreign enemy and defeating it is the one and only standard by which any leadership can be judged. The Founders defeated George III. Lincoln defeated the Confederacy. FDR/Marshall destroyed the Axis. Reagan defeated the Soviet Union. Bush is destroying Saddam/Al Quaeda. Clinton, OTOH, engaged in military ventures of little or no value to the republic, mostly for the purpose of manipulating the attitudes of the media or his illiterate constituents. The REASONS are apparent to any intelligent PRO-AMERICAN-which EXCLUDES yourself. The verbiage on the journey to victory is the hobgoblin of the domestic enemy and his useful idiots-who would choose oppression on the basis that survival in a hostile world is just too much trouble...
