Wouldn't it be nice if civil behavior was so common that
the need to have moderated threads was unnecessary?

I'll admit I'm not perfect. There have been times when I
have shot back barbs to unwarranted hissy fits replete with
uncivil behavior.

I am aware of this thread's community standards. I intend
to comply. I hope these standards are upheld as objectively
& fairly as possible.

I'll also admit I have little tolerance for folks who use
name calling & horrific labels simply because someone has a
different POV. I take issue when these epitaphs have no
basis in reality & they were uttered in a visceral,
emotional outburst to an opposing POV. I have less
tolerance for folks who use lies, distortions, spurious
allegations & political propaganda as the main thesis of
their POV. Both of these repugnant actions get to me faster
than just about anything.

I have & likely will continue to accurately label those
folks (above) liars & hypocrites & worse. I see no problem
using accurate descriptors that can be supported with
credible, supportable evidence. IMO, these aren't personal
attacks if they are indeed an objective & accurate
description.
