So the IRA will be a target, then, and the Shining Path, and other regional terrorist groups?

Or how about the Cuban terrorist groups based in Miami?

WUWT,

You made good points. However, if you check the post I was
replying to, you will see the point I was making. Thomas
alleged that Iraq had done better under Hussein that in the
past. My point was that relatively few prospered while a
vasr majority suffered. He challenged me to support my POV
albeit he had no credible evidence to support his claim.
That was the reason for my post, no more, no less.

I was not justifying this war based on greed & poverty or
posting it for any other reason. However, I believe the
difference between the rich & poor in Iraq will prove to be
quite starking to just about any country on the globe IMO.

Again, I agree on the disparity between rich & poor in
America. CEO's & top management make far more than they are
worth. So do athletes & entertainers. And wages for many
working class people are too low although some are grossly
overpaid for the work they perform as well.

I just don't agree that hunger is a serious or
significant problem here today. You already know my POV. If
there is hunger, I suspect that pride, neglect &/or
indifference plays a major role in it. IMO, obesity is a
considerably larger problem in all walks of life in America.

Regards,

W2
