BTW, I voted for Harry Browne last presidential election, more or less a protest vote rather than vote for what I considered to be two horsesh1t candidates. However, Bush has earned my respect. Outside of the SA issue, I think he has done a wonderful job with foreign policy.

Bravo! Well said. All too many people believe: Pro-America = supporting the government and patriotism = pro-war It is a fortuitous historical accident, that during the birth and formative early years of our Republic, we had the cautionary example of France, to learn from. Washington, Jefferson, Adams, they watched France go from an Absolute King to revolution to Red Terror to Napolean to defeat, and back to monarchy. It is their genius, that they figured out a way to steer between Control and Chaos. It could have turned out very differently. We could have balkanized (like Latin America), into 13 separate nations. Or, Washington could have gotten a crown, or become President-For-Life.
