That's not going to happen. The Federal Government has expanded dramtically under Bush. The new Homeland Security department is probably the biggest expansion of the Federal Government since the early 1970s when EPA and OSHA came into being. There's a dirty little secret in Washington. As much as the Republicans rail against big government and wasteful spending; they really love it. Who do you think wins most of those "big government" contracts? Wealthy Republicans, of course. Homeland Security, while a necessary evil, is another way for the Republicans to funnel public money into their wealthy crony's coffers. That's how our federal government really works.
