If someone wanted to waste time and refer to all the postings I've made on this and the Stop the War thread, as well as those of Jim, Craig Crawford, Emile (forget his last name) and others one would see a pattern. I usually get involved if there is someone trashing US conduct of the war and/or trying to claim that the war was waged because of influence of Israel and the Zionist lobby. I am neither a Zionist nor religious, but yet you can see that these posters usually try to bait any opponent by asking why one would defend against their comments. I had 2 posters answer every one of my posts with "Are you Jewish?" One's religious beliefs should not be important on a message board, rather it should be the logic or lack thereof that is measured. They distort and try to state that defending Israel means one is not a true patriot. Again a read of my posts would hardly show that I am anything other than 100% behind the war and our troops. Doublespeak and distortion is their weapon. Jim and Emile basically have tried quoting paragraphs from ancient volumes to show that Jews are barbarians, perverts, inbred, etc. If you don't believe me, check out the thread. Even the wildest stretch would not have those posts as anything other than OFF TOPIC and TOU violations. I'll admit that I probably have replied often by getting into the gutter with them, and to the extent I've offended anyone other than the party to whom I've responded, I apologize. I guess sometimes I feel you have to beat these morons at their own game. I guess I need to re-evaluate that. It's like in hockey. Often times the guy who retaliates against the flagrant foul is the one who gets punished. Anyway, the posters I name espouse philosophies which are very close to those of Adolph Hitler in his formative years and pointing that out to them usually results in one being labelled a person who is unpatriotic or perhaps with un-Christian like characteristics. Just my 2 cents.
