Tibetans, if anything, have been treated less cruelly than ordinary Han people. That of course doesn't mean they have been kindly treated. But to call the movement of the Communist army into Tibet an invasion or a rape is contrary to history. Tibet, like Taiwan, has been part of China for several centuries.
