I see, ...so the military should have been going after the professional thieves who took the art while everyone else lives in the dark and without water.

BTW The curator of the Baghdad National Museum had a 24 hour plan to protect all of the contents within the museum in the event of a threat.

If he didn't perceive a threat, perhaps it was because the stupid information minister told him there wasn't one......otherwise one certainly has to wonder why he didn't implement the plan? It is quite naive to think he was that ignorant.
