Interesting thought, ST...thanks. But for the most parts what I see is the replacement of Communism with Islamism, but no fundamental change. There are certainly differences. Remember one when Khrushchev banged on the desk and said they would bury us....and remember another where OBL and AQ and other terrorists continue to say "death to America and Americans".... >> But what we need in charge is a value investor like Buffet. Buffet's success is due to his ideology that it is better to buy a great business at a fair price than to buy a fair business at a great price. In contrast our government policies have been the antithesis of that position.<< Since always men (and women) make the judgements, it really means that we as a Government and civilization haven't evolved enough for all positions to be examined and decisions made that are in fact, "what is best for ALL the citizens." Not just the so called poor. Not just the so called rich. ALL citizens. Pandering of one sort or another still gets in the way. Every day and in every way.
