I know "Homeland Security" is a necessary evil after 9/11. But, my point is don't fall for this crap about getting the government off our backs and government being the root of all evil. Because, the same pols who tell you that are wasting your tax dollars on all sorts of necessary and unecessary defense and security measures. The biggest expansion of Federal government and power just occurred under a Republican administration and Congress. Repubs rail against big government and then turn around and vote for it anyway, partly because it helps to redistribute money from the public coffers into their wealthy crony's hands.
