Again, here is an example of someone taking something written 1000's of years ago and claiming that it represents current thinking of Jewish people.

The Talmud is just a commentary of people talking about esoterica of religious laws and tenets. It's something like these message boards.

Your comparison would be like someone taking my posts in a 1000 years or more and saying Jews are idiots because this RRUFFF guy called neo-nazis names like pussies while defending Israel's right to exist and trying to expose distortions.

Quite simply there are lots of good things in the Talmud and lots of bad.

I could say the same thing about commentaries on the New Testament and on the Koran and on any religious document from 1000's of years ago.

Of course, Emile has answered that this is not true with the New Testament because it was directly written on the say of the Holy Spirit and everyone who has ever commented on it, such as Emile, is pure of heart and has seen the light of Jesus.

I suggested to him that Jesus would not be happy with him espousing hatred. Similarly, Jesus would not be happy with those whose commentaries, relying on and interpreting the New Testament, have contributed to or led to the Crusades, the Holocaust or other historical religions horrors.
