A great advantage. Another is that the recipient's program settings do not matter, as they would if you e-mailed a Word or Excel file. I send a sailing club pdf newsletter prepared with MS Word to about 80 people and it looks the same to all of them, thanks to the conversion to Adobe Acrobat.
