Hello BB, I suspect that the <<vote>> would turn out exactly as it would in Hawaii, unless you exclude the Han Chinese from voting, which then would not be democratic, and if you do not, it still would not be clear, as would any balloting in Florida.

I believe that a large fraction of the population are now settlers from the rest of China anyway.

As I implied, the Han people would also choose independence from the dictatorship if they could get it.
