Bush-Cheney are the oil + weapons ticket. Their bedrock supporters also include the Bectels of the world which build infrastructure, particularly profitable during wars. The fact is Bush's biggest supporters have made a ton of money off Bush's policies. And meanwhile the rest of the economy is getting flushed down the tubes. This is one major reason we need a more moderate, honest and ethical team in the WH in 2005. With plenty of checks and balances. Special interests should not have this kind of influence over public policy. You can add the HMO's and drug companies to that list too by the way.
