Extensive bombing of a country, followed by speculation on whether or not a key figure was taken out by the "precision bombing", followed by talk about DNA testing etc. etc., followed by the setting up of a puppet government. A year and a half later things are in a mess. That was Afghanistan. Strange that Iraq seems to be unfolding in almost exactly the same way....
