Why can't we get away from this constant reflexive demonization?

And why can't you just admit there are those who hate America and everything America does ?

Instead you place them on the same pedestal as saints; gimme a break.

As an American citizen, she probably thinks she has more responsibility for changing the bad behavior (as she sees it) of her own government and army, than the bad behavior of foreigners.

See above ....

And .. yes, she only did it because she knew they were American and would NOT shoot her.

Easy to be so "courageous", as you put it, when you know the final score in advance.

I wasn't demonizing Ms. Uzma. She reminds me of me. I have the brass to stand up to authority figures and berate them for not doing what I think they should do, but I'd never get in the face of someone I knew would kill me.

As for the human shields who were killed in Palestine, I don't see any more reason to believe the people who said they were deliberately killed than I believed the Iraqi Information Minister.

("I am a peaceful man. A man of my people. I would never lie to you." Touches heart to show his sincerity.)
