I disagree here. This would be like throwing out the baby with the bathwater. The U.N. has its place and its role, and we should do whatever it takes to keep it legit.

Maybe my language is a bit strong; there is a place for it. But my point is that in its current form it really isn't a useful organization. On occasion, I think it is useful for organizations to undergo major rennovation. It seems to me the UN is at that point.

I'm having a difficult time seeing where membership in the UN benefits the United States at this particular point in time.
