Iraq will be disarmed at the least. The form of government they choose will be up to them. I do think we will be there to make sure that they are not coerced by a new Saddam or crazy mullah. The hacking and stoning of those 2 mullahs last week is an example of leaving them to their own devices.

Politically, I'd like to see about 6 months of American administration to get the structure going, then about 2 years of UN (yikes can't believe I'm saying that) to set up a fair and representative political system.

If the Shiites take power, then so be it. I also think the Kurds should have their own nation. but that's another story.
