Huh? Does that mean that all the states have to do to eliminate sales taxes is to change the name to "excise taxes"?

So those lines on my telephone bill that say "Federal Tax" don't belong there? And that little sign on the gasoline pump that tells the amount of federal tax per gallon is wrong? And all the taxes on cigarettes go to the states?
