EP,

Thanks for the reading on Rome. That was fun. :)

Some of Bonner's other commentary is quite interesting. I concur with him that the U.S./UK economic recoveries have little or nothing to be based upon within their domestic economies. But he fails to mention the silver lining. We just stole $4 Trillion worth of strategic energy reserves from the dirty A-rabs. That'll tide us over for a few months. All that seething resentment we've created? No worries, mate! Hey, the terrorists aren't likely to attack Lyford Cay in the Bahamas or the Grand Caymans, so the fat cats have got it all!

Thank you for that, blessings upon you.
History should be plain, if we would only open our sleepy eyes.
Instead, what Bonner states is a revelation.

Imagine if the major media were to just to lay this out in simple terms for our so-called "Republic" to chew over and begin to understand the implications.

Your post is on topic to the issues of "Booms/Busts/Recoveries", perhaps on a long time-scale. Or perhaps not, if we don't eject the Hijackers of our Republic we may see the crash of Empire sooner rather than later.
