My experience has been when the dominant party in an organization begins to act irresponsibly and uncooperative that behavior usually spreads throughout the organization.

Perhaps, but that isn't what happened. The DOMINANT party encouraged the others to act responsbly and THEY failed to do so.

The others chose not to do what the dominant party wanted and the dominant party took its marbles and went home.

The dominant party did what dominant parties do -- we stood up and said, "we won't be run over by some third rate dictator".

You can tell yourself that but most people in the world aren't buying it and you know what, you have to live in this world with the rest of them.

This is another thing you and I would never reach agreement on. You support a weak foreign policy, under which our nation's future is dictated to us by other nations.

Not at all........a strong foreign policy is one where there is consensus and nations working towards a common goal.

I support a strong foreign policy based on righteousness but not subject to the vetos of other nations, under which we are in control of our own destiny.<M/I>

You support a foreign policy where we do what we want. You are just beginning to see the fruits of such a self centered policy.....it will get worse.

It really is that simple.

There is nothing that simple.

Invading Iraq was not based on righteousness.......if it were, the Iraqis would be loving us instead of trying to get rid of us. No one is buying Bush's and your version of the war............maybe Hollywood will and it might even win an oscar but it will be pure fiction.
