Thanks t, "You figures me right" <vbg> Rap is nothing more than telling a story.. I listened today and watched too.. VH-1 or 2 on cable, the weather wasn't too conducive for me to go outside, except for a little run.... the story of rap.. I never really listened to it.. rap I mean, because it was never my choice of music.. I am stuck in the 70's.. <gg> But then I got to thinking of what happened today to me, here.. And tried to put it in the context of an old western song, I relate to, "The Strawberry Roan". Just telling a story of a person's particular time in life.. So if I remember this right.. <gg> "I was hanging roun town, just spending my time.. Out of a job, not earning a dime.. When a feller steps up and he says, "I suppose, you are a "horse whisperer" <g>, from the looks of your clothes,.... You figures me right, I am a good one I claim, Do you have a any bad ones (RWES, <VBG>) to tame..?"" Just kidding, paraphrasing and twisting words around :).. But at any rate, music and lyrics have told a story throughout the ages, if different in lyrics and beat.... I learned a lot today, "hanging roun the house". I always do, I am not afraid to admit it. Especially in a forum like this.. I think a person learns much more when they do not have to fight off others, a great distraction, IMO, I might add, <g>.. To the great workers of art.. Actually all the great works of art came during peace time, IMO. m
