You don't go to a war unless you have to. This war is far from necessity. Well unless your objective is to dominate the world of course. The young marine said "especially on your behalf", no you are not, nobody came forward asked you to do that. It's way too easy to talk about war in your bedroom. Those running for their life in the field care nothing about on whose behalf you are. To anyone in the world, his or her life is the most important thing, then come the others no matter how you cut it.

I hold no grudge against those Marines, they are just doing what they have to do and I'm not sure I can do anything different, anything better under the circumstance. I'm not even sure I wanna blame those in Mailai massacre. War is insane, it also makes whoever in the war zone insane.

It's so easy to just brush it off by saying "War is hell", or whatever the half ass comment. I'm sure those who started the war can pile up their reasons into Mt Everst in no time. But you know what, it doesn't matter to those who are running their life in the field.

I'm glad I'm not one of them, for now.
