Exactly, Bushies comparing Saddam to Hitler was so dishonest. Telling us "if the US had done something in 1935" blah blah as if Iraq could or would ever be able to conquer the Middle East or anything else. Saddam's regime was vile but we had them surrounded, in a box and they weren't going anywhere. Also, the WMD's question is a crucial one. This was supposedly our #1 reason for war (although I always said it was oil and to steal the Novemver elections). But time will tell. They are scouring Iraq now for WMD's. So far, no evidence and 4-5 false alarms.
