For instance, it's highly unlikely that any Islamist groups will be allowed any real power. Or any political party that advocates the withdrawal of U.S. troops, or a close alliance with Iran or Syria. We will let the Iraqis choose, but only among the choices we find acceptable. Which makes it, at best, a limited democracy. And, at worst, colonization-by-proxy.
