The WMD's in Iraq are a key issue from a political POV.

I'm happy to wait a few months or a year to see what the score is.

I doubt very much that the job could have been done properly with Saddam in place.

The whole UN inspectors thing looks to me now as overblown in it's effectiveness. It was an argument used to stop military intervention. Saddam wasn't playing, and whacking him for good was the only alternative in the first place.

If the WMD are not there, questions have to be asked. OK anyone can make a mistake once or twice. BUT...
