Nope, you are right. However, when SS was first sold to me they called it INSURANCE. Now they want to call it welfare (or at least treat it like that). I am one of the people that DEMANDS my social security contract be fulfilled. I have paid in the MAXIMUM my entire working career and since much of that was as a OWNER I paid in 1 1/2 times the maximum. I dont consider it WELFARE and I will NEVER get back all I paid in. jdn

Unlike Cyberken, I will admit I was wrong if you can show me proof. If you have proof that someone who has put nothing in gets benefits, show it. That's news to me.
