Yes, it does. "One man or woman, one vote" is a fundamental human right, as essential as the right to free speech, the right to freely petition the government for redress, the right to due process, the right to free assembly, and other freedoms.

I believe I have the right -- and obligation -- to say this because I grew up in Louisiana when blacks did not have these rights, and I saw how terrible it was.

White people all around me said the same things that are being said on this thread -- that the niggers were perfectly happy not voting, and that they were too stupid to vote right, and so forth.

They were wrong.
