Paul, don't you think you're being just a bit harsh here ?

Bad hair day up north ?

KR's original point about America not having a female President is legitimate .... I don't see it as a negative and I do know there will be one. May not be in 4 years, may not be in 20 but it will happen when it should happen. Of that I have no doubts.

As far as pointing out that many Americans couldn't answer his question, I don't find that surprising in the least. I'd expect nothing less in the local watering hole. I would venture to guesstimate that the majority of Americans have never read the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, etc. and if they did, it was in 5th grade and long forgotten.

It is not documents that makes America the country it is; it is the spirit of the people. Those documents simply laid the foundation for that spirit and belief system that lives on today.

Were we wrong regarding slavery; yes and it was taken care of.

Were we wrong when all did not have equal rights; yes and it was taken care of.

It isn't being right that makes America an example to many; I think it's the ability to correct its' mistakes and move forward. It's ability to evolve for the betterment of society.

I don't think KR was taking any shot at America; I think he sees it pretty much the way it is.

BTW .... I think he'd make a great citizen !!!!
