rrufff, "How can both anti-war and pro-war partisans claim that the Jews are manipulating the news both ways. Because each side carefully selects out that evidence which supports their points of view. In the US the Jewish people are not monolithically aligned on all causes. Traditionally Jewish people have tended towards liberalism and democratic causes. It's not surprising that many Jews were in fact against this war in Iraq. Just to mention a few Jewish celebrites that were against the war, Edward Asner, Barbara Streisand & Oliver Stone. In fact, there are signifant number of Jewish people from all walks of life that are against the war. I would also characterize the New York Times, in spite of their Jewish ownership, as strongly liberal with strong misgivings about the war in Iraq America is a diverse place. It is of course in the strong interest of Emile, Gustave and some of the other HY's to portray the US media as thoroughly infiltrated by the evil satanic Judeao-Fascist conspiracy. How else can you explain how a moral people would be 'duped' into this terrible unjust war against the wonderful and beloved Saddam Hussein. I have not taken a scientific poll on this subject, but having a number of Jewish friends, I would generally characterize that US Jews have a moderate majority that were in favor of this war. In Israel I would imagine that support for the Iraq war would be nearly unanimous.
