It all began in Godhra - or so the right-wing saffron combine (Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)and Bajrang Dal) and its government in Gujarat maintain. Incidents of this nature and scope have been happeing in India and Pakistan over the last 50+ years. Yep, a few thousand lives are lost, but thats peanuts compared to a population of 1B. Indians and pakistanis have learned to "live with it" over the years. The folks capitalizing on such events, can be broadly classified as "media" and the 2 governments.
