almost... I buy on the announcement and sell when the price has appreciated by the amount of the dividend plus a few cents for commissions. if you look back a few messages you will see where I posted links to search for dividend announcements - I also posted the links on the REIT thread (which initially turned me on to this idea). this is not exactly a free ride - LXP has dropped 30 cents since I bought it, on a downgrade from Raymond James, and this weekend Barrons published a negative article on REITS - so we'll see what happens on Monday.
