The movie is new, only the plot is an old one. Examples -
Unisys under Weinbach; IBM under Gerstner.

The ammo-builder era is pretty much gone. Sun needs to
adapt. Few founders ever prove to be fit to be CEOs.

Scottie-the-founder is the wrong fit for this role,although
funnily enough, we are once again talking about a
computer-built-using-standard-parts (but it's an integrated
world now.)

I don't undersand. If they buy Linux it benefits Sun.

Linux is causing Windows admins to learn Unix. Also finally you have a unix which is has a user friendly GUI. I think Linux will replace most of those Windows servers out there and make a dent on the desktop. As long as there is Unix/Linux Sun has a market.
