Sorry, I thought Maurice had answered it for me. The grin was because I find it amusing to hear about "courage of his conviction" when he is preaching to his flock from his stronghold. Where is the courage in this? If and when he actually walks into Iraq and preaches in Najaf or Karbala, then I will praise him as the courageous man that he was. But not before then.
