Lindy, India is an example of how people can go on voting themselves into poverty for many decades. India threw out the British, but kept Karl Marx. They should have kept the Queen and thrown out Karl Marx.

When humans are worth only about $200 per year = a capital value of a few thousand $$, it's not surprising that there's all sorts of mayhem.

I'm surprised they don't vote themselves some freedom. They kept the British bureaucracy and rule by permit as well as socialism.
