Do you think they will be able to contain it in Asia and Toronto?

The real test for the western world is probably Toronto. It is not be as densely populated as Asian cities and quaranteen of people is probably a lot easier especially if they don't go out to many public places. If they can't contain it there, I doubt they will be able to at other places.

Toronto also seems to have some cases similiar to Amoy
Gardens in Hong Kong.

The test is to see if the Toronto cases jump from 300 to 1400 in 2weeks as it did in Hong Kong.

Amoy Gardens patients obviously got a real dose of it for some reason

If the source of the report posted here by Jay Chen is accurate, it looks like a done deal to me.

He attributed the spread of the virus to Amoy Gardens' u-shaped waste drainage pipe called a ''U-trap''. This is part of each apartment's toilet plumbing system. When the U-trap is filled with water, it blocks sewage odours from going back into the toilet. However, most of the ''U traps'' in Amoy Gardens were dry because of improper maintenance.

The movement of material in the sewer system could easily blast infected material everywhere by blow back. I am talking about mist size droplets. A simple straight forward method of infection and solution. i.e. Fix the plumbing.

The good residents of HK are following up too by the looks of things..
