The 30's were the worst, but this is the worst since the 70's. I said worst economy in 30 years not 75 years. But Bush beats Herbert Hoover on one stat, pewrcentage of wealth lost in the stock market during his tenure. And Bush beats Hoover in 2 years instead of 4. I would still not buy stocks. The global economy is what our companies depend on, except defense contractors which are fat and happy now. No way Bush can turn this big ship around before 2004, nor are the policies he's pushing the right medicine.

You may think I'm just trying to be negative, but the truth is that the impact of the huge debts has not quite hit us yet. People are still living off home equity and low interest loans, but that's another bubble that will burst. And go try to find a good job. Uh uh. They dont exist in the US anymore unless you're very lucky. And the environment for entrepreneurs and venture capital financing is the worst I have ever seen it. No one wants to part with money. Everyone is a paranoi squirrel except the few, the rich, the lucky.

"For anyone to say this generation of Americans suffers anything similar to that is pure hogwash"

No doubt. It is pure lies and propaganda to try to unseat our very capable President. Despicable imo.
