If Bush had to ask for Congressional approval to invade Syria, Jordan, Iraq AND Saudi Arabia tomorrow, the Treason Lobby would be given time to make their noise, and then the approval would be forthcoming out-of-hand.

The only reason you do not see that is because the Bush administration is currently convinced it isn't necessary. If they are forced to conclude that they are mistaken, Islamic blood will flow in the Middle East.

The crime of France was making the Iraq war necessary. France will not be permitted that influence again...

Why do we need to fight anyone else? So Bush can invade third world countries with the best military in history. And it's great for his approval ratings. Whoop-dee-doo.

Now how about back home where it counts? Doing something here for a change? The worst economy in thirty years. Wake up.

Iraq was Bush's obsession. We (moderates) let him do it. Now he's done it. The troops were great. Hopefully this will do some good. But we still have the same problems as before, plus an even more paralyzed economy with much greater debt and unemployment than when Bush started the war. Also, why the hell didn't he arrange for more peacekeepers as Kerry was pushing him to do? Our troops cannot possibly handle post-war Iraq by themselves.
