All these issues are dynamic...Saddam is mostly irrelevant, and OBL also looks that way. They messed with a much greater foe...not very smart of them I suggest. heheheh

Any president would have taken out The Taliban. That's where Osama was and they were hiding him. Give credit to the military and the goodwill of Pakistan, Uzbekistan and others after 9-11 to let us use their territories. Bush just did what he had to do, what we wanted him to, what was obvious, that we had to fiind terrorist gangs and squash them wherever they were hiding. As for Iraq, I know Lieberman would have pushed hard to take out Saddam. He's practically an Israeli. Maybe Gore would have gone with it too, but probably more cooperation with the UN.
