Read the review. Sounds like "made for the TV series." The arguments for what we are doing will be written in book form by people you can't abide. So I doubt if you will find anything you will read that really lays out what the admin is doing. I'm less interested in what the Bush folk are doing, considering doing, or may well do, at least for the moment, than the ongoing rethinking of imperialism and empire. Fergusson is a big gun in that process. A deft writer but a distinguished economic historian which means things that interest him no end, things that he considers the prime movers of events, are things which bore me. Though I know they are important.
