Bearcat, i don't know where you live but in most areas of the USA buying a house is a good way to get terminal sticker shock. Like so many other previous "inflation" indicators, housing costs are no longer included in CPI figures. Does that mean no one needs to rent or buy a home anymore? How about the price of a car? Funny isn't it? The main large ticket purchases have been removed from the inflation calculation! Heinz nailed it on the CFZ thread....Stagflation. A nightmare come true.
