What happens to the Muslims, the Chinese, the Russians, etc.? ------ There are Christians in all societies. What about America's current financial woes? How can she remain so strong to threaten the entire world if we are about to have a financial calamity, which is likely? ----- Perhaps that's all the reason our leaders(in a secular sense) need to wage war. That last verse should make one question the lie of the "American Dream" shouldn't it? If the antichrist comes from Babylon, who is it? ----- Just another question to be answered in due time. Who destroys Babylon in an hour? ---- Just another question to be answered in due time. Bush has been pretty explicit about his acceptance of Jesus. ----- Many "Christians" have done the same. Mt.7:Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? It is hard to imagine that behind closed doors he snickers at the "stupid Christians". If this is the deception, I can see him simply being fooled into believing he is "called by God" to take over the whole world in the name of Democracy, God, and Safety from Terrorists. But then, is there enough financial strength to do this? ---- We wouldn't be the first country to go BK through too many wars. FWIW, China seems like it is gaing strength at a breakneck speed. The previous answers are not in depth, but I think you'll get where I am coming from.

It is very difficult to believe that Bush is anything but what he publicly affirms, a born again Christian. But, then, I have a problem with, and had at the time, his unstoppable march to war, and especially the many and changing reasons given for the necessity of this "war". In almost every other war, the US fought in defense or after it had been attacked. I was particularly dismayed at his assertion of an imminent threat to the United States. I could go on in this vein for quite a while, but to tie it into the topic of Christianity, prophecy etc., and in response to your own questions of deception, I offer that perhaps he is being used, unwittingly, and is simply enforcing some greater will. The alternative is unimaginable. The pieces may soon fall in place. We are in the right area, and the biblical passages of wars and rumors of wars, of pestilence and false prophets certainly seem to fit into our time. And Israel and Jerusalem are at the center. Maybe a financial collapse will bring about the final alignment. Phil

I think Bush could have good intentions, but I keep tripping over his association with the NWO elite including his father. He could be advancing the financial aspirations of the NWO guru's without knowing he is playing into the devil's hands. Like the road to hell is paved with good intentions, the Office of Homeland Security could be viewed as a good and needed advancement of government by politicians who are not afraid of out of control government. And the "informed" insiders know it's needed to advance the cataloging of the human race and paving the way for the financial New World Order. And that's what they are interested in advancing. A new financial system on this planet. The grand schemes of David Reckefeller and his kind. They are probably not bowing down to the devil although he pulls their strings. After all, from a secular point of view what "they" want is a natural and very clever advancement for mankind. And having the money to fuel our Pax Americana comes from our still huge economy. Biggest in the world, still. But when financial collapse comes I think "they" will be way ahead of the rest of the world with their solutions, and the world will follow. But the devil will step in and take over what they have built and the real evil will ensue. The Word says that if it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. So think twice about every so called "good" Christian. Even a President proclaiming his Christianity. We see sound bites, not the man. And my views of the Revelation of John are not the norm. But that's what we always get with the Bible and prophecy, curve balls and sliders. The river Euphrates starts in Turkey, runs through Syria and Iraq to the oceans. We have been watching for the prophecy about the 4 angels bound at the river Euphrates that will be released to kill a third of mankind. Well Bush has his eye on Syria now and it seems it's no secret they have chemical/biological weapons. I don't know the details. Things have really gotten hot in the region now.
