Absolutely. The leveraged buyout guys of the 80s who bought up companies just to sell them off in parts were a good example....but then maybe we'll feel differently about them years from now, we'll see them as wolves that made the herd stronger by culling the weaker animals.

The problem always is, the science of economics can only measure that which can be measured.
