Was the war fought for Israeli interests or American interests?

"I think this war will benefit Israel, and I am glad of it."

Why shouldn't it since America fought the war was instigated by Israel/zionists and fought for the benefit of Israel.

You can cut your 60 by half. The number is 30, and their average age is way up there, that's why they are still so many.
