Emile, I have read much of the New Testament and do wish I knew more. However, I find it hard to understand how love can be preached on paper and then result in Crusades, Holocaust and hatred similar to what many posters here believe.

Aren't we all children of God? Isn't there truly one God? Isn't the name one calls God unimportant? Why would someone who believes in a different name for the God be called subhuman, a killer, a deviant? Why is ok to kill, harm, or slander that person?

News is out today on the weapons Saddam has sent to Syria, from one of Saddam's own scientists. Another scientist that Hans Blix interviewed was found, with his head cut off. So, looking at Syria is in everybody's interest.
