Off the top of my head, I can't think of an investigative journalist with more credibility. The bit about Al Qaeda is interesting, too. Glad to see a really experienced journalist working on this story.

From the NYT for tomorrow: Illicit Arms Kept Till Eve of War, an Iraqi Scientist Is Said to Assert By JUDITH MILLER Good reporting from Judith Miller. It's very carefully worded to indicate she's not making these claims, only reporting they have been made and the only source for much of it is the reputed Iraqi scientist. He may turn out to be reliable but in this environment I would guess the better part of wisdom is to remain skeptical. Seriously so. And Miller does precisely that.
