Jimmy, your hatred is blinding you. Listen to Emile who states that the Talmud is merely commentary. There are passages that resemble commentary by writers analyzing and debating the New Testament over the years. You imply that the inclusion of horrid passages, written 3000 years ago would condemn an entire race. I suggest that it would be more "relevant" to brand a religion that is used by Chosen leaders to justify its own actions and to, in essence, condone its actions. Why are you denying that maybe 10,000 priests may have been involved in pedophilia. The Catholic Church, in essence, condoned this by covering it up. Do you deny that? In essence, Catholic leadership has more involvement with pedophilia than the current Jewish religion has with something written by a few ancient Rabbis. What part of that do you not understand in your hatred? You can swear and jump up and down as much as you want but I've just made a case for you to condemn Catholicism according to the values you have expressed on this board. My take is to instead acknoweldge wrongs written and spoken (commentaries) by all religions and accept the best as being truly representative. Catholics and Jews are generally fine people who should not be condemned because of the acts of a few ancient Rabbis or thousands of pedophile priests.

Jim, you never answered. Are you afraid to defend your logic. Do you condemn the entire Catholic Church and do you call Catholics deviants because Church leaders looked the other way during decades of extreme child abuse? Would you agree that an argument can be made by your logic that there is a direct connection to God in a religion that teaches Papal Infallibility and that the Pope is the Direct Recipient of the Word of God on earth, and a direct connection to those thousands of pedophile priests, hidden by a number of Cardinals. Bottom line, should we take your approach and condemn to hell or subhuman status or ridicule all Catholics or should we take my approach which is to recognize that deviance is not something condoned by most Catholics or their leaders or their Bible or most of their Commentaries (oral and written.)
