We need to get off Arab oil and pull out of there within 10 years for good. The cost we pay for their oil is much higher than the $30 a barrel or so when you add in all the defense costs. Probably doubles it. We could use that money and savings to develop amazing new clean fuels programs which could make hydrogen our #1 fuel of the future, not oil. Less pollution, fewer wars and terrorism, pays for itse;f over the long run, makes us much more secure as a nation and saves priceless wilderness and seacoasts from over-zealous and often careless drillers. Hopefully the Iraq War is the last such war we ever need to fight. Our troops are marvelous and there are times for war, now it's time to rebuild peace and prosperity. That's the main reason we need a new president in 2004. Bush doesn't so peace and prosperity. Nor does he do clean fuels. He's Big Oil's man in the White House and will never change.
